Role Description The Occupational Therapist role at Orcas Capital is a full-time, on-site position based in Málaga.
The Occupational
Therapist will assess clients’ functional abilities, design individualized intervention plans, and implement evidence-based therapeutic activities to promote independence and quality of life. Daily responsibilities include conducting evaluations, documenting progress, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams,
and educating clients and families on strategies to improve daily living and work-related skills. The role also involves coordinating rehabilitation programs, monitoring outcomes, and contributing to continuous improvement of therapeutic services within the organization’s quality framework.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy, with the ability to design and deliver individualized treatment plans.
- Knowledge of Medicine and Rehabilitation principles to support comprehensive, evidence-based interventions.
- Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience or interest in Pediatrics, including working with children and adolescents with diverse needs.
- Relevant university degree in Occupational Therapy or a closely related field, and appropriate professional licensure or eligibility.
- Experience in clinical or rehabilitation settings, preferably in on-site roles.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation, follow established quality procedures, and uphold confidentiality and professional ethics.
- Proficiency in Spanish; additional language skills are an advantage.
