The Product Owner, Services is embedded in a cross-functional Product Team and fulfills the primary accountabilities outlined below for client-sponsored projects.

The Product

Owner, Services plays an important role in the sale and scoping of service-based engagements. Maintaining and prioritizing a sufficient backlog of ready-to-work backlog items to facilitate Sprint Planning. In so doing, the Product Owner also fulfills a critical quality assurance function, focusing primarily on fitness for use.

Proactively participating in release and product increment planning. Collaborating with Product Team members in writing stories, taking accountability for having a backlog of ready stories, and prioritizing them for Sprint Planning. Collaborating with Scrum Masters to practice agility and capitalize on Scrum to maximize the product value and ensure continuous improvement.

Ensuring that User Stories are "ready" for development to start work according to an established Definition of Ready in collaboration with the Product Team. Coordinating dependencies and activities with other Product Owners as necessary.

Leading Program

Increment (PI) planning activities for the Product Team. Participating in all Agile ceremonies with the Product Team, including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos and retrospectives.



A minimum of 2 years of industry experience as a Product Owner in an Agile software development environment.

Demonstrable understanding of Agile product management principles with Scrum. Working knowledge of the Atlassian suite (Jira & Confluence) or similar tools. Working knowledge of SQL. Working knowledge and experience using AI tools, including ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini/Figma Make to create Product Artifacts.

Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
