Overview

As a Commodity Buyer, you manage sourcing and procurement for assigned categories to optimize total cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability. You will build supplier partnerships and contribute to the purchasing strategy within a multinational automotive context. You’ll lead cross-functional sourcing activities, negotiate for value, and monitor market trends to guide strategic decisions. This role blends supplier management with make-or-buy collaboration to support Antolin’s transformation toward sustainable, technologically advanced interiors.

Responsabilidades

- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodity categories
- Manage supplier relationships including selection, qualification, development, performance, and risk management
- Lead or support end-to-end sourcing activities (RFx, evaluations, negotiations, contracts)
- Negotiate commercial agreements to achieve cost savings and long-term value
- Analyze supplier markets, pricing trends,



and industry developments for strategic decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Projects) on demand planning, specification management, and Make-or-Buy decisions
- Maintain purchasing data, supplier records, and contracts in SAP and BUYONE ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Build strong internal and external relationships to enable project success

Requisitos principales

- 5+ years in strategic sourcing or commodity management, preferably automotive
- Experience purchasing plastic components; strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
- Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency with procurement platforms; BUYONE familiarity is a plus for internal candidates
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven, proactive, results-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent English; additional languages advantageous
