Senior Software Engineer – Barcelona-based Acquisition Team, responsible for building and optimizing landing and discovery experiences across AI, search, paid media, and distribution channels. Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high‐quality software solutions within the Squad, contributing to product and engineering goals. Mentor and support junior engineers, providing guidance through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge‐sharing sessions.

Act as a key contributor to the Squad's development processes by identifying and implementing improvements for efficiency and quality. Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the stability, performance, and maintainability of Squad systems. 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with demonstrated expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems. Proficiency across modern web stacks utilizing React, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, GraphQL, Next.js, and cloud infrastructure, with strong knowledge of coding best practices and testing methodologies.

A passion for building beautifully crafted user experiences.

Background working on landing experiences with an understanding of performance optimization, SEO, AEO, and high‐scale content is a plus. Strong understanding of system architecture, including experience with scalable infrastructure, service topography, and cloud technologies. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues,



with experience in debugging tools and performance optimization.

Familiarity with agile development methodologies, including task prioritization, iterative delivery, and collaboration in Scrum or Kanban environments. Commitment to delivering high‐quality, well‐tested, and maintainable code, with a strong focus on user impact and technical excellence. Fluent enough in English to be comfortable communicating and coordinating with teams in multiple geographic locations.
