Responsabilidades
- Lead the design and implementation of large-scale data processing and streaming applications
- Define architecture standards for distributed data platforms
- Build and optimize batch and real-time data pipelines with Spark and Kafka
- Develop scalable RESTful APIs following OpenAPI specifications
- Analyze performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards
- Drive continuous improvement across development processes and platform reliability
- Participate in technical decision-making and roadmap planning
Requisitos principales
- Java development experience in enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in Apache Spark (Spark SQL, Spark Structured Streaming)
- Hands-on experience with Cloudera ecosystem
- Kafka and Kafka Streams proficiency
- Scala development experience
- RESTful API design using OpenAPI
- SQL and data modeling knowledge
- Cloud experience, especially AWS
- Databricks experience
- System analysis and troubleshooting capabilities
- Leadership experience with technical teams and project delivery
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Mentoring and promotion of engineering best practices
