Overview

In this role you drive the reliability and performance of enterprise SAP environments, leading internal and third‑party SAP Basis operations. You will shape architecture, upgrades, and security while ensuring efficient collaboration with stakeholders and vendors. You address availability, backups, DR planning, and compliance to align with IT strategy and business goals. You guide a cross‑functional team to deliver high‑quality SAP services across multiple landscapes. This is an opportunity to influence SAP governance and efficiency at scale.

Responsabilidades

- Lead and manage SAP Basis team and operations across SAP landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, SRM, BTP, SuccessFactors, PI/PO, Solution Manager, GRC, etc.).
- Oversee and govern performance of third‑party service providers delivering SAP Basis services.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations of external partners.
- Plan and execute SAP system upgrades, migrations, and patches in coordination with vendors and internal teams.
- Monitor system performance and address issues to ensure high availability and reliability.




- Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to support project implementations and ongoing operations.
- Manage system backups, disaster recovery planning, and security protocols.
- Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to ISMS and other frameworks.
- Provide strategic input into SAP architecture and infrastructure planning.
- Support audit and compliance activities related to SAP systems.

Requisitos principales

- Proven expertise in SAP Basis administration and support
- Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop teams effectively
- Track record of managing third‑party vendors and service providers, ensuring quality and compliance with SLAs
