Overview
In this role you will contribute to the EMC-focused electrical systems of satellite platforms and payloads for multiple space programs. You will work within the Electrical Systems Spain Department to ensure on-cost, on-time, and on-quality delivery from an EMC perspective. You will define and manage EMC requirements, budgets, and verification strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the product lifecycle. This is an opportunity to influence system-level EMC design and testing in a multi-disciplinary, international environment. Responsabilidades
- Manage all technical aspects related to the EMC area under the System Architect coordination for platforms, payloads, and instruments.
- Elaborate and maintain EMC requirement specifications and budgets, including frequency analysis and EMC control plans (CE/CS, RE/RS, RFC,
and Magnetic budgets).
- Review suppliers' hardware designs and PCBs, supporting EMC constraints and providing design, development, and testing solutions.
- Define system verification and validation strategies, prepare test specifications, and maintain verification documentation.
- Support Procurement and Quality with follow-ups of subcontracted equipment, risk assessments, and anomaly investigations in NRBs.
- Collaborate closely with AIT and other engineering disciplines (thermal, mechanical, harness) throughout the product lifecycle.
Requisitos principales
- Degree level in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in space projects, power electronics design, and EMC design, analysis, development, and testing
- Strong teamwork and collaboration in multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural environments
- Advanced English and Spanish
- Requirements management, subcontractor technical management, and experience with ESA ECSS standards
