As an Embedded Software Engineer in GMVs Robotics and Onboard Autonomy team, you will help develop advanced space-grade hardware and software for ESA and commercial customers. You contribute to FPGA and digital hardware projects, embedded architectures, and onboard AI capabilities, shaping next-gen space platforms. You will work across R&D; and operational projects, collaborating with universities and technology partners to drive innovation. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge space avionics and a clear path to impact the missions of future space programs.

Responsabilidades

- Design and develop hardware/software solutions for next-generation space platforms
- Contribute to digital hardware design and FPGA development for space applications
- Define and implement embedded architectures on RISC processors and heterogeneous computing platforms
- Develop acceleration solutions for signal processing, communications, and onboard AI
- Support rapid prototyping,



validation, and certification for space-grade systems
- Contribute to architecture definition, technical estimates, and solution development for satellites and onboard instruments
- Participate in R&D; activities exploring emerging technologies and driving innovation
- Collaborate with universities, research centers, and technology partners

Requisitos principales

- Degree in Electrical, Industrial, Computer, or Telecommunications Engineering or related field (space applications focus)
- Experience in digital hardware design and development
- Knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
- Experience or interest in space technologies and aerospace projects
- Hands-on experience with Adaptive Embedded Software Defined Radio (SDR) technologies
