Overview

In this Senior/Staff Engineer Test Engineering role within Infineon’s R&D; team, you will help shape the next generation of semiconductor products by ensuring test programs and hardware meet stringent quality and cost targets. You will collaborate with design, product engineering and test teams to optimize test coverage, yield, and program stability across platforms. You’ll drive pre-silicon verification, test program migration, and cross-functional delivery for new products. This role supports our mission to advance decarbonization and digitalization through reliable, scalable energy and IoT solutions.

Responsabilidades

- Manage and plan test activities to ensure components/products meet Infineon standards
- Install, correlate and release test programs; interpret results and interface with test development and product engineering
- Optimize test package stability by balancing coverage, yield, test time and cost; develop special-purpose characterization tests




- Migrate test programs between different ATE platforms and prober systems; assess and mitigate coverage impacts
- Identify weaknesses in test coverage and implement corrective actions considering cost
- Create test methods and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver test programs for new products
- Perform pre-silicon verification, interpret results, and work with Design Engineers on product bring-up

Requisitos principales

- Min. 3 to 5 years of semiconductor test engineering experience
- Bachelor in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Programming knowledge in Java, C++, Python
- Knowledge of Advantest V93K or Teradyne Nextest Magnum is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving and data interpretation abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate with integral teams
