In this role you will be the go-to expert for LuxExperience’s Akamai Security Platform, shaping edge security for our global luxury brands. You’ll design, configure, and continuously tune Akamai-based protections while collaborating with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to keep web apps and APIs secure, available, and performant. You’ll drive incident readiness and operational excellence, including documentation and automation to streamline security workflows. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced, collaborative cyber security team with a chance to impact the security of high-traffic, high-profile online experiences.

Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Design, provision, and maintain Akamai security configurations (App u0026 API Protector, WAF, Bot Manager, Content Protector)
• Tune WAF rules and rate limiting to balance security with usability
• Identify and mitigate real-time DDoS and bot traffic




• Implement and manage API security controls (schema validation, discovery of unmanaged endpoints)
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to translate requirements into secure edge configurations
• Produce technical documentation for edge configurations, incident playbooks, and procedures; explore automation with Akamai CLI, Terraform, or APIs
• Manage platform lifecycle including health monitoring, release updates, and best practices

Responsabilidades
• xqbhyrx Akamai security solutions experience (App u0026 API Protector, Bot Manager, Client-Side Protection, Edge DNS)
• Deep Web u0026 API security knowledge; OWASP Top 10 and API Security Top 10
• Traffic analysis using logs, Akamai Control Center, or SIEM dashboards
• Strong foundation in TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, and enterprise DNS
• TLS/SSL certificate management at the edge
