We are seeking a commercially driven Account Manager to join our BU Absorbents & Additives team, taking ownership of an established and strategically important customer portfolio across the Iberian Peninsula, with a primary focus on the Cataluña and Valencia regions. Based in Tarragona, Spain, this role is central to growing our additives business — spanning coatings, adhesives, sealants, and plastics — within a dynamic and competitive market. The position reports directly to the Subregion Sales Team Manager and acts as a vital bridge between customers and Clariant's internal functions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop an established and commercially significant customer portfolio within the assigned Iberian territory
- Drive the implementation of BU Additives strategy, including pricing, project execution, and new product introductions
- Promote and sell Clariant's full Additives portfolio across coatings,



adhesives, sealants, and plastics segments
- Identify and develop new customer opportunities to grow the commercial footprint in the region
- Steer and coordinate distributor relationships at the country level
- Serve as the primary interface between customers and internal teams including Customer Service & Development (CSD), Marketing, and Supply Chain
- Manage 2–3 Coordination Accounts of medium complexity at local and sub-regional level
- Support project-driven developments in close collaboration with BU Technical Marketing groups
- Maintain frequent, high-quality customer interactions through on-site visits, calls, and business reviews
- Coordinate effectively with neighboring Sales Teams across EMEA subregions
- Contribute actively to CRM opportunity pipeline management and Commercial Margin (CoMa) targets
- Track and report on sales performance against defined regional targets, repo
