Commercial Project Manager – Injection Molding

Our manufacturing capabilities include CNC machining, injection moulding, sheet metal, stamping and forming, vacuum casting, 3D printing, extrusion, die casting and other advanced manufacturing technologies.

Our European R&D; Centre in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona , is looking for a Commercial Project Manager – Injection Molding to manage and develop injection molding customers and projects across the French and other European markets .

YOUR ROLE:

Reporting to the Director of the European R&D; Centre, you will be responsible for managing and developing injection molding customers and projects across France and other European markets , from the initial RFQ and technical feasibility assessment through quotation, tooling, industrialisation, production, delivery and after-sales.

This is a customer-facing, commercially driven Project Management position with a strong focus on plastic injection molding .

You will act as the main point of contact for your customers throughout the entire project lifecycle , combining commercial responsibility with end-to-end project ownership.

You will work closely with our injection molding facilities, mold makers, suppliers, Quality teams and technical teams to define the most appropriate manufacturing solution according to the customer's technical, quality, timing and commercial requirements.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Managing and developing direct relationships with injection molding customers across France and other European markets ;

- Understandingcustomer applications, technical requirements, specifications, volumes,



target prices and project constraints;

- Managing incoming injection molding RFQs and coordinating their technical and commercial assessment;

- Reviewing customer 2D drawings, 3D files, material requirements, tolerances, surface finishes and technical specifications ;

- Working with our engineering teams, injection molding facilities and mould makers to assess part feasibility, tooling requirements and production strategy ;

- Participatingin DFM (Design for Manufacturing) reviews and discussing technical recommendations with customers;

- Supporting decisions relating to part design, tooling concept, number of cavities, mould materials, inserts, sliders, hot or cold runner systems, surface finishes and other tooling requirements ;

- Evaluating suitable thermoplastic materials according to customer requirements and application constraints;

- Coordinating tooling and injection molding quotations with our manufacturing facilities and suppliers;

- Preparing andsending competitive technical and commercial quotations for tooling, samples and serial production ;

- Presenting and explaining quotations to customers from both a technical and commercial perspective ;

- Actively following up quotations and commercial opportunities in order to convert them into orders ;

- Negotiating pricing, lead times and commercial conditions with customers;

- Achieving your individual monthly order-intake objectives ;

- Identifying and developing new business opportunities within existing and prospective customer accounts;

- Developing customer portfolios and increasing business with existing customers;

- Managing projects from order confirmation through tool design,



mould manufacturing, first trials, samples, validation, industrialisation and production ;

- Coordinating tooling modifications and optimisation when required following mould trials or customer feedback;

- Following project milestones and ensuring tooling and production schedules remain aligned with customer requirements;

- Coordinating our manufacturing facilities, mould makers, suppliers, Quality, Logistics and internal teams;

- Ensuring customers receive regular, clear and proactive project updates ;

- Coordinating dimensional reports, samples, material certificates and other required quality documentation;

- Supporting customer validation processes including, where applicable, FAI, PPAP, capability studies and production approvals ;

- Managing delivery issues, quality concerns, tooling modifications and after-sales requirements through to resolution;

- Maintaining accurate customer, quotation, order, tooling and opportunity information in our CRM/ERP systems;

- Participatingin customer meetings and technical reviews to present our manufacturing solutions and support the conversion of opportunities into orders;

- Participatingin trade fairs, when necessary, alongside our local Business Development Managers to develop customer relationships and generate new business opportunities.

THE PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking above all for someone with a strong commercial and customer-focused mindset, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple industrial projects simultaneously .

You may come from a commercial, business, engineering, industrial, supply-chain or project-management background .

A mechanical engineering degree is not mandatory .

You should have:

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Management, Supply Chain, Project Management or another relevant field, or equivalent professional experience;

- Ideally at least 2 years of experience in B2B sales,
