About the Role

The Operation Billing Controller will be responsible for the end-to-end management to ensure the accurate validation, reconciliation and billing of operational catering services provided under the airline contract. The role is responsible for making sure all chargeable services are correctly recorded, supported with the required evidence, reconciled and invoiced, protecting revenue and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements. The role will oversee operational billing activities, including (but not limited to) Second Approaches, crew meal discrepancies, additional catering requests and other operational service variations. It will also provide financial and operational analysis to support the Business Controller and drive continuous improvement across the operation.

Responsibilities

- Review and validate operational catering activities to ensure they meet agreed operational and contractual requirements.
- Review operational exceptions,



including Second Approaches, crew meal discrepancies, additional catering requests and other chargeable operational services.
- Ensure all operational services are fully traceable from request through to delivery and invoicing.
- Reconcile operational records, supplier information and billing data to ensure all services delivered are accurately billed.
- Work closely with Operations, Finance, OCC, Last Meal Provider (LMPs) and airline stakeholders to verify operational records and supporting documentation.
- Investigate billing discrepancies, missing information and invoice queries, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and revenue is recovered where applicable.
- Prepare and reconcile billing records before invoicing and support monthly financial reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate records, databases and supporting documentation for audit and contractual purposes.
- Produce regular reports and dashboards on operational billing performance, operational exceptions, revenue recovery and associated costs.
- Analyse trends and identify recurring issues, recommending improvements to strengthen billing controls and operational processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve billing accuracy, reduce revenue leakage and increase operational efficiency.
