In this role you will develop and manage global EPR programs, ensuring compliance across packaging, WEEE, batteries, and related obligations. You will act as the subject matter expert, guiding internal teams, suppliers, and partners while driving training, data quality, and continuous improvement. You will monitor evolving regulations, coordinate registrations and reporting, and align compliance with business objectives across regions. You may lead a team of compliance specialists to advance Avnet's environmental goals. This role offers the opportunity to influence global producer responsibility strategies and maintain Avnet's compliance leadership.

• Develop and maintain global EPR policies, processes, and controls for packaging, WEEE, batteries, and related obligations.
• Serve as subject matter expert on EPR, advising on registrations, reporting, fees, labeling, and best practices.
• Create and deliver communications and training to promote awareness of EPR obligations.
• Monitor integral EPR regulations and customer requirements to keep programs current.
• Manage third-party EPR service providers, data submissions, reporting, and audits.
• Lead EPR data collection, validation,



and reporting with cross-functional teams.
• Support regulatory registrations and ongoing compliance across jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with teams to improve data quality, automate reporting, and enhance efficiency.
• Support customer and supplier inquiries with regulatory guidance and documentation.
• Engage in industry groups to monitor trends and strengthen Avnet's compliance presence.
Responsabilidades
• Expert knowledge of EPR, producer responsibility programs, and global packaging, WEEE, batteries, and plastic tax regulations.
• Ability to interpret complex legislation and translate into actionable processes.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across management and teams.
• Global perspective managing programs across regions with cultural and regulatory awareness.
• Excellent English communication with stakeholders and authorities.
• Proven project and program management skills with multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for regulatory impact assessment and risk evaluation.
