Job Description: An opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist has arisen within Airbus Operations in Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Manufacturing Engineering Team responsible for Widebody (WB) Products, specifically focusing on HTP A350 & A330. The team is multidisciplinary and operates in an international environment, driving design-for-manufacture, process standardization, and industrialization across complex aerostructures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The main tasks of the jobholder will be:
Drive Collaborative Design: Integrate industrial requirements into all design phases (Process A2853.3), advocate for DfM best practices, and coordinate technical configuration management (Delta 2).
Develop Build Processes & Means: Calculate operation-level cycle times, design ME build processes, and specify technical requirements for tooling, equipment, and machinery.
Manage Technical Documentation: Create and update Routings, Bill of Materials (BoM), and Standard Operating Instructions (SOI) according to Process A2019.1 and Airbus "Golden Rules".
Ensure Quality & Process Integrity: Implement Standard Work with Standard Time Values (STV), conduct FMEA/PFMEA risk analyses, and define measurement tasks for Quality Control Panels.
Provide Operational Technical Authority: Act as ME signatory for Airbus Process Specifications (AIPS/AIPI/MNI), resolve complex shop-floor escalations, and support Run@Rate validations.
Optimize Production & Costs: Evaluate the industrial impact of technical modifications (collaboration with IA, ISE, TDE, PPE), support CAPEX/budget planning, and integrate EHS compliance.
