We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our Primary team on a permanent contract. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support the learning and wellbeing of primary-aged students.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging primary curriculum lessons.
- Assist with lesson preparation, resources, and classroom displays.
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students, including those with additional needs.
- Supervise students during transitions, breaks, and extracurricular activities as required.
- Help monitor students progress and maintain accurate records.
- Support positive behaviour management and a safe, engaging learning environment.
Requirements
- Degree in Education, Primary Teaching, or a related field (equivalent vocational qualifications will also be considered).




- Experience working with primary-aged children is preferred.
- Fluency in English is required; Spanish is an advantage.
- Genuine enjoyment of working with young children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience, flexibility, and a proactive attitude.
