The IT Data Intern will be based in Madrid, European Headquarters, and will be part of the European IT team, reporting to the IT Data Architect.

Main Responsibilities

The selected intern will support the BonsAI Data Platform, enabling the team to scale data onboarding, governance, and analytics initiatives across Europe. Responsibilities include:

- Support the identification, documentation, and onboarding of new data sources into the platform.
- Assist in data governance activities, including metadata management, data catalog maintenance, and documentation of data assets.
- Help define and maintain data quality controls, ownership information, and business definitions for key datasets.
- Support the creation of process documentation, diagrams, and guidelines for data ingestion and governance activities.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of incidents reported through ServiceNow, including data quality, platform access, data ingestion, and operational issues.
- Assist in the operationalization of AI and Machine Learning use cases, including documentation, monitoring, and lifecycle management activities.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering,



Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Exposure to modern data platforms and cloud technologies, such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with data tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI.
- Basic understanding of databases, data models, and data governance concepts is a plus.
- Organized, proactive, and eager to learn in an international environment.
- Strong interest in data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.
- Fluent English (both written and spoken).
- Communication and collaboration abilities.

No prior professional experience required, although academic projects or internships in analytics or data‑related roles will be valued.
