Scopely is looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our expanding Accounting Finance Team in Barcelona, working on a hybrid basis 3 days a week from the hub.Show us the money As the Finance team, we’re number crunchers with top-notch analytical and reporting skills.What You Will DoThis role will support the day-to-day operations of the Accounting function while contributing to continuous improvement across all departmental processes.- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies- Record general ledger entries in compliance with local and group accounting policies- Assist with the month‑end close and general ledger reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting- Post and reconcile intercompany transactions- Maintain the fixed assets register,



including asset postings and monthly depreciation- Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team on reconciliations and discrepancy resolution- Provide support during external and internal audits- Partner with cross‑functional teams to support business units with financial and accounting insights- Contribute to process improvement and automation initiativesWhat We’re Looking For- Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting- Prior experience in international environments, preferably across multiple entities- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools- Highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities- A team‑oriented mindset with a focus on shared goals- Experience working with ERP systems; Oracle ERP experience is a strong plusBonus Points- Background in a fast‑paced, tech‑driven environment- Experience working in a shared service center or centralized accounting functionThis role will have access to sensitive and/or confidential employee or customer personally identifiable information (PII) and/or company financial information, and therefore will be subject
