This means designing and improving pipelines for extraction, classification, validation and transformation, while choosing the right approach for each challenge: LLMs, vision-language models, OCR, NLP, deterministic logic, parsers or classifiers.
Your projectYou will collaborate closely with Product, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Platform teams and business stakeholders to assess new use cases, build reusable AI capabilities and bring robust solutions into production.
Your responsibilitiesDevelop and evaluate document-processing pipelines for complex, variable document formats.
Build prompts, structured outputs, validation logic and post-processing components.
Create representative evaluation datasets, ground-truth labels and automated regression tests.




Improve accuracy and robustness through systematic analysis and iteration.
Develop clean, modular and maintainable Python services and REST APIs.
Implement logging, monitoring and observability to understand production performance and failures.
Optimise solutions for reliability, scalability, latency and cost.
Document technical decisions, limitations and evaluation results.
What we are looking for3+ years of relevant experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering or Data Science.
Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI, prompt engineering and model evaluation.
Experience with unstructured or semi-structured information and document-processing solutions.
Strong Python skills and sound software-engineering practices.
Experience with REST API integration, monitoring and observability.
Familiarity with version control, code review, CI/CD and automated testing.
