We're looking for a Chief AI-Native Engineer to join our team in Malaga, Spain in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will lead the development of a next-generation AI-powered financial assistant platform, driving end-to-end delivery from system design to implementation in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.You will work closely with a small, highly skilled engineering team to design, build and optimize AI-driven solutions that enhance financial workflows. This position offers the opportunity to directly influence the product while working with cutting-edge technologies, modern architectures and AI-assisted programming tools.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and deploy AI-driven solutions for next-generation financial assistant featuresArchitect and implement backend components and APIs using Python and FastAPI or similar frameworksMaintain high-quality, scalable systems leveraging AWS cloud, Kubernetes and Terraform for infrastructure automationCollaborate on frontend development with React (TypeScript) and integrated AI-driven UI componentsApply AI-assisted programming approaches and modern engineering practicesGather requirements from high-level definitions, perform system design and ensure robustness across edge casesWork closely with engineering peers to define and iterate on product capabilities in an agile and lean setupEnsure automated testing, reliability and best practices throughout the development lifecycleRequirements7+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong track record of end-to-end solution deliveryProficiency in Python (or other languages with readiness to learn Python quickly)Hands-on experience with FastAPI or similar Python-based frameworksExpertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS), orchestration tools (Kubernetes) and IaC technologies (Terraform)Ability to work in a startup-like environment, demonstrating ownership and autonomyHigh proficiency in identifying requirements,
