This is a great opportunity for a motivated, energetic, self-starter. In this role, the successful candidate will serve as the Regional EMEAI RSS-Region System Specialist for BSO: Biomolecular Service Organization Cell Analysis and Genomics. You will be providing technical, solutions knowledge and productivity drivers of key BSO portfolio, related technologies, SW and workflows with focus on Cell Analysis and Genomic areas to drive customer loyalty and competitive differentiation.
The role serves as regional FSEs - ASPs and any other post sale resources, point of expertise and co-ordination, however, does not carry any people management mandate/responsibility.
Your Role
Solves (manage to solve using Agilent resources) complex system hardware/application problems which may include Installation, implementation and training customer on customized solutions, and workflows
Maintains communication within the entire platform support community (pre and post sales)
Interfaces/Consultant with Service and Sales Management, improving delivery of services and customer satisfaction
Address key business model supportability deficiencies across the region’s for for BSO: Biomolecular Service Organization Cell Analysis and Genomics
Maintain and expand your expertise including the latest scientific findings, market & technology trends, industry benchmarks & regulations and positioning of the competition
Works closely with the solution unit for training and instrument requirements both technical, SW and workflows
Monitors escalations, allocates resources and provides onsite assistance as needed in collaboration with Service and technical service managers
Monitors installations, implementation form acceptance and application assistance
Monitors success and issues related to the BSO support model, NPI, and team building process
Assists with selection and development of the future Field System Specialist and Field System Application Specialist team members
Coaches post sales resources new to platform
May teach training classes to FSEs/FSSs and customers across geographical region
May be required to perform/mentor installations, consulting or repair calls for complex situations across geographical region
Spread technical, SW and workflow knowledge including regular TC's, workshops or trainings
Reports to Regional System Specialist manager
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or University Degree in Biochemistry, Biology or equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years relevant experience with Cell Analysis / Genomics platform including advanced data analysis Software and workflows with typically 10 years practical field service engineering experience
Proficient knowledge of related systems and tools across the BSO Business
Demonstrated high level of project management skills, with the ability to do this virtually/remotely
Ability to instill trust and professionalism across assigned group of post sales resources and experts as well as with external clients
Strong ability to understand the balance between being the functional lead as well as working closely with the team
Follows through on commitments

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
