Lecturers Wanted — BSc (Hons) Artificial Intelligence and Data Science

EIG Education, based in Granada, delivers the academic programmes of the University of Derby (United Kingdom) to an international student body. We are expanding our academic team and are looking for qualified lecturers to teach modules within our BSc (Hons) Artificial Intelligence and Data Science programme, starting September 2027.

About the role

We are seeking lecturers to deliver teaching, assessment, and student support across the core modules of the programme, in line with the University of Derby's academic standards and quality framework. Positions may be full-time or part-time, depending on the modules and teaching load involved.

● Logic and Discrete Mathematics

● Probability and Statistics

● Calculus

● Programming (Python and related languages)

● Data Science and Modelling

● Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence

● Professional Work Skills / Employability

What we are looking for

● A PhD (or near completion)



in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field.

● Proven teaching experience is required.

● English level C1 (minimum) or English as a mother tongue is required, as all teaching is delivered in English;

● Genuine interest in working within a small, international, and student-centred academic environment.

● Ability to design engaging learning materials, assessments, and to support students individually.
