? Key responsibilities
- Define and execute the European Logistics IT roadmap in alignment with the company’s global digital and IT strategy.
- Lead the development, implementation, integration, and continuous improvement of logistics IT systems across multiple European markets.
- Oversee logistics platforms including WMS, TMS, Customs systems, port-related systems, and other supply chain technology solutions.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, scalability, and operational continuity of critical logistics systems.
- Lead incident, problem, change, and release management activities, together with disaster recovery and capacity planning.
- Act as the key interface between logistics business users and IT teams, collecting operational requirements and translating them into effective system solutions.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to improve user experience, service quality, and overall logistics IT performance.
- Support the development and deployment of advanced digital capabilities, including AI-enabled solutions, digital integration, and next-generation logistics architecture.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, data residency, and cross-border data governance requirements across European logistics systems.
- Manage and coordinate internal teams,
external technology partners, and contractors involved in logistics IT operations and projects.
- Support logistics system architecture decisions within the general IT framework and ensure alignment between regional and global standards.
- Lead major incident escalation when required and support business continuity and disaster recovery activities.
✅ Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of IT experience within logistics, supply chain, automotive, or related industrial environments.
- At least 5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven experience managing logistics IT systems such as WMS, TMS, Customs systems, and port community systems.
- Strong understanding of European logistics IT ecosystems, including SAP MM/WM, TMS, WMS, OMS, BMS, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong knowledge of IT operations management, including incident management, business continuity, disaster recovery, and system reliability.
- Good understanding of cloud architecture and deployment within European environments.
- Knowledge of GDPR, data residency requirements, and European data protection regulations.
- Strong strategic leadership skills, with the ability to translate global business strategy into a practical regional logistics IT roadmap.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working with senior business leaders, operations teams, IT teams, and external partners.
- Experience working across multiple markets and multicultural environments.
- Strong cross-functional coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience building and managing high-performing teams across international environments.
- Fluent in English.
