As a Senior Software Engineer at Emburse, you contribute to the Enterprise product within an agile team, building and refining SaaS services. You ensure code quality, mentor peers, and advocate for robust test practices to elevate product reliability. You will design features, participate in system design, and guide refactoring with a user-centered approach. Responsabilidades

- Contribute to the codebase for enterprise SaaS applications and services
- Communicate complex concepts to team members and leadership
- Ensure quality and maintainability of the product, identifying improvement areas
- Elevate test practices across multiple teams
- Show empathy to users to guide decision-making
- Identify viable alternative solutions and present them




- Follow SDLC and agile processes, including peer code reviews and release readiness
- Mentor and guide developers
- Fix complex bugs and demonstrate strong debugging skills
- Contribute to system design sessions for features and enhancements
- Perform and guide refactoring
- Provide constructive feedback to team members
- Learn industry jargon and business concepts to solve technology challenges

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong proficiency in Java
- Minimum 4 years Java development
- Minimum 4 years Cloud Platform experience, preferably AWS
- Experience with OS X and Linux, Microservices, SQL, NoSQL, and Git
- Experience in a scrum and DevOps environment
- Good understanding of agile application development lifecycle
