In this role you will shape the risk management framework for card payments, ensuring secure and compliant processing while supporting growth. You work within the Payments team to align risk controls with regulatory requirements and industry standards. You’ll lead fraud prevention strategies, monitor risk indicators, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to safeguard transactions. Responsabilidades

- Develop and maintain a risk management strategy and framework for card payments
- Define policies, procedures, and controls across onboarding, processing, chargebacks, and fraud management
- Establish KRIs and monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigations
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation measures
- Lead advanced fraud prevention/detection initiatives and monitor trends
- Ensure compliance with card schemes, PCI DSS, PSD2, GDPR; manage audits and regulatory assessments




- Develop incident response plans and lead investigations of payment security incidents
- Communicate risk findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with card schemes, payment processors, and regulatory bodies

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master’s preferred
- Extensive experience in card payments risk management with emphasis on fraud prevention and compliance
- Deep knowledge of card schemes (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PCI DSS, PSD2, GDPR
- Proven track record building and implementing risk frameworks, policies, and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation capability
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, BI tools) and fraud detection technologies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to influence across teams
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
