Overview

As a Database Architect, you will design, implement, and govern scalable database solutions aligned with our strategic goals. You will shape our data platform, ensuring performance, security, and integrity across both relational and NoSQL paradigms. In this role you collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust data models and architectures, driving modernization and governance. You will lead complex database initiatives and work with cloud platforms to enable reliable, scalable data assets that support the company’s mission.

Responsabilidades

- Define and drive long-term database strategy aligned with business objectives
- Evaluate and recommend database technologies, platforms, and architectures
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into effective solutions
- Design and implement complex database architectures (OLTP and other models)
- Develop data models, schemas,



and normalization rules for data integrity and efficiency
- Optimize performance via indexing, query tuning, and monitoring
- Create automation routines for Database Engineers
- Establish and enforce data governance, classification, retention, and security policies
- Lead database-related projects with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in DBA work, architecture and design
- Proven track record leading complex database projects
- Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and performance optimization
- Experience with cloud-based database platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with data platforms for Microsoft SQL Server and Open Source (Postgres, MySQL)
