Overview

In this role you design, develop, and maintain backend services for the Subscriptions segment within the Grow & Engage domain, delivering features that help customers discover, purchase, and maximise value from N26 premium plans. You work with a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, designers, and analysts to ship reliable, well-tested software at scale. You will troubleshoot production issues and contribute to operational excellence while continuously improving your technical skills. Responsabilidades

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend services with teammates
- Implement well-scoped technical solutions to customer-facing features
- Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability




- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software
- Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and best practices

Requisitos principales

- Experience building backend applications using modern programming languages and frameworks
- Understanding of APIs, databases, and distributed systems concepts
- Familiarity with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Good understanding of software engineering principles and clean coding practices
- Familiarity with microservices or service-oriented architectures
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms and modern development practices, preferably AWS
- Motivation to write reliable, well-tested, and maintainable code
- Full professional proficiency in English
