Responsabilidades

- Collaborate with product, frontend, design and QA to scope features and ensure smooth experiences
- Leverage AI coding tools (Claude) to speed up development while critically reviewing AI output
- Build and ship AI-driven products, workflows, and agents
- Contribute across the SDLC with architecture input, design feedback, and deployment strategy
- Develop robust features, databases, APIs, and infrastructure; fix bugs at speed while maintaining quality
- Own end-to-end feature delivery (design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, iterate)
- Ensure high-quality, customer-focused products through strong testing and validation




- Communicate with cross-functional teams; translate requirements for non-technical stakeholders
- Unblock teams with clear questions, rapid debugging, and practical solutions
- Adhere to Deel’s coding standards, testing, deployment, and operational responsibilities
- Maintain information security and manage cost efficiencies in development and operations
- Take accountability for service excellence from design to production

Requisitos principales

- 4+ years as Backend/Software Engineer
- Experience shipping real AI products and handling production issues
- Proficiency in NodeJS or Python; clean, maintainable code
- Strong SQL and NoSQL knowledge; PostgreSQL and ORM (Sequelize/TypeORM) experience
- Experience shipping Claude-powered features; ability to prompt, review, and balance AI vs manual coding
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to document and explain concepts; strong remote collaboration
- Ability to work in distributed teams with async communication
- Commitment to secure coding, data handling, and compliance
- Awareness of cost efficiency and resource optimization
- Accountability for end-to-end ownership of features
