In this Electronics Engineer role at PAL Robotics, you will design and implement electronic systems for advanced robotics platforms and oversee manufacturing releases. You will lead and mentor a team of Electronics Engineers while collaborating with mechanical, software, and firmware teams to integrate electronics across the stack. The position emphasizes motor control, power board design for battery-powered systems, and delivering reliable, producible electronics. You will contribute to innovative robotics solutions that impact real-world applications.

Responsabilidades

- Analyze requirements and conceptualize electronic circuits with microcontrollers and peripherals for ADC/DAC, sensors, and bus interfaces
- Design and develop electronics systems for robotics platforms focusing on BLDC motor control and power boards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electronic components
- Conduct testing, validation, and debugging to meet performance and reliability standards




- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Stay informed about emerging technologies to drive product innovation

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
- Minimum 4+ years hands-on experience in motor control design for BLDC applications and power board design for battery-powered systems
- Strong background in motor control drivers, CAN and EtherCAT buses
- Experience designing multilayer boards with hands-on bring-up and debugging
- Proven EMI/EMC compliance, reliability, and manufacturability design experience
- Proven track record leading complex electronics projects from concept to production
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
- Team-oriented in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
- Experienced in Altium Designer
- Hands-on PCBAs and cabling
