Overview

In this Sr. Product Designer role, you help shape how pet parents and sitters connect through Rover’s booking, messaging, and payments flows. You will partner with product managers, engineers, and UX researchers to deliver user-centered experiences across web and mobile platforms. Your work drives trust, usability, and engagement in a two-sided marketplace. The role offers ownership of design across the core booking flow and sitter experiences, with opportunities to influence the design system and long-term product vision.

Responsabilidades

- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define requirements, roadmaps, and UX
- Lead workshops with cross-functional teams to identify strategic product opportunities
- Partner with UX Research to conduct user and usability testing throughout the lifecycle
- Apply human-centered design, data, and user insights to guide decisions
- Own projects end-to-end, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and users




- Create concepts to engineering-ready deliverables and contribute to the design system
- Shape the platform's long-term vision within a dynamic design team
- Establish and track customer experience metrics for projects

Requisitos principales

- 4+ years in UX/Product design
- Proven track record of customer and business outcomes
- Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools
- Experience across web, mobile web, and native apps
- Ability to consolidate stakeholder views and drive aligned objectives
- Strong collaborative and critical thinking skills
- Data-driven design approach using business, product, and UX metrics
- Knowledge of UXR methodologies and partnership with UX Research
- Advocacy for lean design processes
- Bachelor’s degree in HCI, UX design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proactive in identifying opportunities and proposing solutions
