Overview

In this Automation QA role, you will drive test automation efforts for a Barcelona-based aeronautics tech company. You will work within a cross-functional team to craft and execute test plans, ensuring software quality across functional, regression, and performance tests. You will leverage Java-based stacks and industry tools to detect issues early and verify data integrity in complex systems. This position offers hands-on impact in a fast-paced, hybrid Barcelona environment with a strong emphasis on collaboration and quality.

Responsabilidades

- Design, create and execute test cases, plans, and scripts for automation
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Java-based tools
- Perform functional, regression and performance testing to ensure software quality
- Query databases with SQL to validate data integrity and support data-related testing
- Collaborate with developers, product, and stakeholders in an Agile setting
- Identify, analyze and troubleshoot defects, enabling rapid resolution




- Contribute to test strategy and continuous improvement of QA processes
- Participate in risk assessment and ensure test coverage aligns with project goals

Requisitos principales

- 3-5 years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation
- Proficiency in Java, Spring, Selenium, and Postman
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (functional, regression, performance)
- SQL querying for data validation and testing
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools
- University degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Aeronautics, Mathematics or similar (or equivalent work experience)
