Overview
In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and improve BMS and EPMS systems across AWS data centers to keep power and environmental control reliable. You will drive preventive and corrective maintenance, lead controls improvement projects, and collaborate with operations teams to ensure safe, scalable facility operations. You’ll shape controls standards and contribute to a growing, mission-critical infrastructure team. Responsabilidades
- Plan, perform, and adjust preventive and corrective maintenance on BMS and EPMS systems to ensure safe, reliable data center operations.
- Lead controls improvement projects, including SOO development, control logic modifications, and commissioning during data center builds.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical control issues across generators, switchgear, chillers, cooling towers, and related infrastructure,
escalating when needed.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, design teams, and external vendors to review outcomes, align on deliverables, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Provide hands-on training and share best practices on equipment operation, BMS/EPMS configuration, and controls methodologies.
Requisitos principales
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering
- Vendor management experience
- Data center or critical environment experience
- Data center engineering or operations experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Collaborative teamwork
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Clear communication with multiple stakeholders
- BMS/EPMS operation and maintenance
- Controls logic programming and SOO development
