What You'll Do
As a

Mechanical Engineer

, you'll work within a multi-disciplinary project team to develop and deliver water TOTEX solutions.

You'll lead mechanical design work across a range of clean water projects, ensuring high-quality, efficient outcomes that meet Anglian Water's goals.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
Leading mechanical optioneering, identifying risks and gaps while ensuring alignment with project requirements.

Developing design calculations for mechanical, hydraulic, power-generating, and building services equipment.





Collaborating with the supply chain to assess new technologies and innovative solutions.Working with the design team to develop 3D models, P&IDs;, and data sheets.

Providing mechanical input into commissioning plans, including HAZID and HAZOP studies and proposed performance tests.

Ensuring designs meet health, safety, and compliance standards under CDM regulations.

Identifying opportunities to enhance digital delivery, sustainability, and project innovation.

What we're looking for

Degree in Mechanical Engineering with extensive mechanical design experience.

Proven track record in designing hydraulic and mechanical systems and products.

Understanding of modular build, construction processes, and electrical control systems.

Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering value.

Willingness to explore new technologies and approaches to drive project efficiencies.

Advanced Level of English / ability to work in English

Willing to travel to UK on regular basis
