The Role

We need a Customer Service & Operations Coordinator who can run the day-to-day like they own the place. You'll be the first voice customers hear, the person keeping our engineers on track, and the driving force behind a smooth, profitable operation.

Your day will span customer calls, engineer scheduling, invoicing, social media, and revenue growth. No two days will look the same — and that's exactly the point.

What You'll Do

Run Customer Operations
- Answer inbound calls — you're the voice of the business, so warmth and professionalism matter
- Book engineers for service visits, repairs, and installations via SimPro
- Handle enquiries, provide quotes,



and follow up on outstanding jobs
- Chase overdue services and proactively check in after completed work to gather reviews

Keep Engineers Accountable
- Schedule and dispatch engineers with optimised routes and minimal downtime
- Chase job notes, photos, and paperwork — every time, no exceptions
- Monitor utilisation rates and flag underperformance to the Director
- Coordinate materials ordering with UK-based suppliers

Handle the Finances
- Raise and send invoices promptly on job completion
- Chase outstanding payments and manage debtor follow-ups
- Prepare and send professional quotes
- Maintain accurate customer records and job histories

Drive Revenue
- Promote and upsell subscription service plans in every customer interaction
- Convert annual service customers into monthly subscribers
- Spot upsell opportunities from engineer job notes (ageing boilers, additional work flagged)
- Re-engage lap
