About the Role:We are seeking an experienced IT M&A Integration Manager with hands-on delivery experience across acquisitions, divestments and complex IT separation/integration programmes, capable of driving multiple workstreams from transaction planning through Day 1, transition and post-close delivery. This role will oversee IT projects for our pharmaceutical clients throughout the UK and EU, partnering closely with PMO, Supply, Commercial, IT, Finance, Regulatory, Legal, and Quality teams. A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional client service is key to success in this position.Key Responsibilities- Develop and drive the end-to-end IT integration and separation strategy, delivery plan and roadmap across M&A transactions, ensuring alignment with Day 1 readiness, business continuity, regulatory requirements and post-close objectives.- Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to enable smooth IT service integration following a merger or acquisition- Oversee the separation and integration of IT systems, applications, and processes to support the newly combined organization- Manage IT asset transition, migration and ownership activities while maintaining regulatory and control requirements- Coordinate IT teams and workstream leads throughout the integration lifecycle with a focus on service continuity and operational efficiency- Deliver regular status updates to senior leadership, flagging key milestones and potential risks- Manage several integration projects at once,
offering direction and support to project teams- Build and maintain strong working relationships with project managers and stakeholders to enable clear communication and collaboration- Maintain alignment across integration workstreams and track progress to ensure on-time delivery- Identify issues and change requests early, addressing or escalating them to keep projects on track- Apply sound project management practices tailored to the demands of M&A integration- Connect IT integration efforts to the wider strategic goals of the M&A transaction- Carry out detailed project reviews and prepare executive-level reporting- Champion continuous improvement to strengthen operational effectiveness post-mergerExperience- 5+ years of IT programme/project management experience within a consulting environment, including substantial hands-on delivery of IT M&A integration, separation or divestment programmes; Big 4 experience is a strong advantage.- Direct experience on Mergers, Acquisitions, or Divestment projects (required)- Understanding of pharma-specific IT regulations (GxP, CSV) is a plus- Experience leading cross-functional,
multi-geography teams- Comfortable working with project metrics reporting and dashboards- Experience presenting to senior and executive-level stakeholders- Skilled in designing and facilitating workshops- Proven ability to manage projects spanning multiple time zones and regions- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferredKnowledge,Skills & Abilities:- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline- Polished executive communication and reporting skills, suited to C-Suite and Board audiences- Strong PowerPoint and presentation capabilities (required)- Fluent oral and written communication in both English(required) and Spanish (good to have)- A recognized Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or similar)- Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities, able to untangle complex IT challenges- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and collaborative instincts- Confident engaging with stakeholders at every level, from business leaders to technical teams- Sound judgment around confidentiality and privacy, with strict adherence to client NDAsLocation & Working Arrangement- Location: Spain / Poland- Work Mode: RemoteAbout London StrategyLondon Strategy is an IT consulting firm based in London with deep expertise in M&A, IT, Cyber and transformation services.
