As Project Buyer at Valeo, you drive the sourcing lifecycle for electronics-focused projects, partnering with cross-functional teams to meet QCD targets. You lead strategy, RFQs, and supplier selection, while managing risk and ensuring alignment with design and quality expectations. You’ll work within the Purchasing function across milestones from sourcing to SOP, contributing to a sustainable and innovative mobility agenda. This role offers international exposure and impact on critical automotive programs.
Responsabilidades
- Represent the Purchasing function in the project team and lead purchasing from sourcing to SOP and project closure
- Define and execute sourcing plans; manage RFQs/Auctions and supplier selection based on compliance, capability, and bundling
- Identify critical parts and assess supplier risks; develop mitigation and contingency plans
- Coordinate Supplier Design Reviews and validate supplier requirements and improvements
- Pilot the project purchasing index, drive productivity actions, and ensure forecasting accuracy for serial production
- Ensure all sourcing decisions, contracts, and supplier docs are recorded in SAP, PuMa, with timely stakeholder sign-offs
Requisitos principales
- Industrial Degree/Master
- >3 years of engineering experience; automotive knowledge desirable
- Knowledge and passion for the automotive industry
- Strong abstraction, lateral and holistic thinking
- Negotiation proficiency; English mandatory; other languages valued
