We are looking for

Permitting Project Engineers

with previous experience in Oil&Gas;, Petrochemical, Fertilizers or Energy sector projects.

Main responsibilities

Develop Permitting road maps for new Oil & Gas facilities for Corporate and project reference throughout British Columbia and Alberta, Canada.

Prepare and submit permits and license applications for pipeline, Upstream, Downstream, Power & Petrochemical Projects.

Prepare the TSBC (Technical Safety BC) or ABSA (Alberta Boilers Safety Association) Requirements for Vendors documents. Pressure equipment, fuel gas, and electrical permits.

Organize and lead the alignment meeting with TSBC or ABSA.





Coordinate the Building Permits in accordance with the BC/Alberta Building Code.

Coordinate environmental permits (wildfire, amphibians, beavers, etc.).

Coordinate Regulatory Permits, waste discharge, air quality, road upgrade permits, ...

Maintain direct contact with regulatory agencies or gain clarification or insight processes, and/or policy interpretations.

Advise on the best regulatory practices and demonstrate deep know-how with internal and external clients.

Assists with data gathering in preparation for regulatory inspections

Required profile and experience

Thorough knowledge of the schedule and contract to promote compliance.

Interdisciplinary coordination.

Communication with third parties.
