Overview

In this role you drive Santander’s Trade and Working Capital origination within Investment Banking, shaping growth initiatives across the Santander footprint. You work closely with the Global Head of Origination to identify opportunities, structure solutions, and oversee end-to-end origination projects. Your focus spans M&A;, Project Finance, and Leverage Finance to deliver optimized working capital structures for clients. You’ll operate in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment and contribute to a technology-enabled, risk-conscious culture. Responsabilidades

- Define, execute and monitor Santander’s Trade and Working Capital origination strategy and growth initiatives linked to Investment Banking transactions
- Identify and capture growth opportunities, enroll origination projects end to end, ensure successful implementation across Santander footprint




- Originate and structure Trade and Working Capital solutions in the context of M&A;, Project Finance and Leverage Finance transactions
- Advise on optimal Working Capital solution structures considering client’s capital structure, business plan and projections

Requisitos principales

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Trade & Working Capital Solutions, Private Debt, Structured Finance, M&A; or Relationship Management in a bank with international background
- Experience in front office of an Investment Bank or debt fund, or equivalent origination role exposed to corporate clients or law/consultancy firms
- Structuring background in Leveraged Finance, Structured Finance, Project Finance, DCM, Asset Mobilization
- Proven ability to lead strategic projects from definition to execution
- Excel and PowerPoint skills (strong)
- English Advanced/Bilingual; Spanish Intermediate; Portuguese Optional
