professional to contribute to the origination and execution of infrastructure and real assets financings - including project finance, asset-backed structures, and corporate debt - as well as the coverage of real assets clients. The Iberian team builds and maintains long-term relationships with leading Spanish and Portuguese corporates, originating and structuring transactions across the full Investment Banking product suite: M&A;, DCM, ECM, Integral Markets, Infrastructure & Acquisition Finance, and Global Trade. Working closely with all the members of the Madrid team and ultimately reporting to the Head of Infrastructure & Energy Finance in Madrid, you will support the origination, structuring and execution of project finance transactions. Your responsibilities will include: Assist the Natixis Madrid team in the financing of transactions across all infrastructure sectors (Renewables, Telecom, Transport, PPP) in the Iberian Peninsula. Structure project finance transactions: develop and maintain detailed financial models, perform bankability and sensitivity analyses,
and prepare credit files for internal committees. Draft and process internal credit applications in coordination with different business lines (coverage, portfolio, syndication). Analyze and assess projects and sponsors, including financial strength, business plans and overall risk profile. Review and comment on financing terms and conditions (pricing, covenants, security package, documentation). Coordinate and analyze due diligence (technical, financial, legal, commercial, ESG) to identify and mitigate key risks. Prepare pitch books and marketing materials to support origination and secure financing mandates. Participate in the syndication process by preparing documentation for participating lenders and monitoring the distribution of the financing. 2-3 years of relevant experience as an analyst in Project Finance / Infrastructure & Energy / Leveraged or Structured Finance, ideally within an investment bank, infrastructure fund, or financial advisory. Strong knowledge of infrastructure sectors (renewables, transport, telecoms, PPP) and basic understanding of project finance structures. Excellent financial modeling skills in Excel (cash flow modeling, debt sizing, sensitivities) and solid analytical and quantitative capabilities. High attention to detail, strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines. Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn within a demanding and international environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills; comfortable interacting with different internal stakeholders and clients. Fluency in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus). Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
