Overview

As Senior Footwear Designer, you will lead the full design lifecycle from concept to final sample, shaping our footwear collections. You’ll collaborate with the Design Team and Head of Design to ensure designs align with our brand and market trends. You’ll push material innovation, drive seasonal storytelling, and manage multiple projects with cross-functional partners. A key focus is sustainable design and production feasibility, delivering high-quality concepts that fit Alohas’ identity. This role offers impact through shaping product direction and brand storytelling.

Responsabilidades

- Lead end-to-end footwear design from concept to final sample, aligning with brand vision and market trends
- Research and integrate new materials, textures, and innovations to keep products cutting-edge
- Collaborate with product development, merchandising, and production to ensure feasibility, quality, and timelines
- Create detailed sketches, tech packs, and AI drawings to communicate design intent to PD and manufacturers
- Conduct trend analysis and competitor research to anticipate customer preferences




- Drive seasonal storytelling and design themes aligned with the brand identity
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creativity with efficiency
- Research and evaluate new sourcing options, suppliers and sustainable materials
- Partner with suppliers to track samples and manage production orders

Requisitos principales

- 5+ years in a similar senior footwear design role
- Exceptional creativity with strong attention to detail in technical and aesthetic aspects
- Proficiency in design software: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and/or AI tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for cross-functional teams
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with adaptability in design
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainable design principles
- Strong project management skills with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for fashion and alignment with Alohas’ brand ethos and target market
- Willingness to travel to factories, trade shows, and for research
