As Study Grants Manager at Novartis, you translate complex protocol plans into grant cost estimates and fair market value assessments to accelerate site activation and improve trial forecasting. You will collaborate with general teams to influence study design decisions and drive operational efficiency across trials. You’ll support budgeting, start-up, and site contracting, shaping the cost framework for investigator-initiated and local studies. Responsabilidades
- Translate protocol schedules into grant plans and FMV cost estimates
- Lead grant plan development with study teams to support timely site contracting
- Partner with Study Leaders to assess protocol design impacts on costs and operations
- Contribute to forecasting accuracy with study leads, start-up, and budgeting teams
- Provide operational insights on procedures, visit design, and cost drivers
- Build partnerships with country organizations to support site selection and negotiations
- Prepare FMV assessments for investigator-initiated and local studies
- Collaborate with GrantPlan and FMV tool vendors to improve cost models
- Identify opportunities for productivity, cost avoidance, and forecasting accuracy
- Analyze protocol amendments and assess budget and cost impacts
Requisitos principales
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or business, or equivalent experience
- Experience in drug development within pharma or vendor/provider organizations
- Strong understanding of clinical development and global trial processes
- Expertise in clinical trial budgeting, forecasting, and site cost drivers
- Knowledge of GCP and clinical trial start-up activities
- Experience using GrantPlan or similar costing tool, clinical databases, and clinical PM systems
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Excellent written and verbal English communication with cross-functional stakeholders
- Advanced knowledge and usage of MS Excel
