Overview

In this role you will ensure secure, reliable, and scalable AWS workloads, focusing on system administration, automation, and platform reliability. You will collaborate with platform, network, database, and security teams to maintain a stable cloud environment and drive operational excellence. You’ll work on infrastructure provisioning, hardening, monitoring, and incident response to support a global cloud platform. This is a hands-on role with impact on security, efficiency, and reliability, leveraging AWS services and IaC to shape scalable cloud operations.

Responsabilidades

- Operate and improve AWS environments with governance, monitoring, logging, and cost management
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational processes using Terraform and scripting (Python/Bash)
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management with root-cause analysis




- Administer and harden Linux and Windows workloads on AWS EC2 and container platforms
- Manage patching, configuration management, and OS baselining
- Implement IAM access models, secrets management, and certificate lifecycle management
- Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability using CloudWatch
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and SOPs
- Automate repetitive tasks via IaC and scripting
- Improve platform reliability through backups, DR readiness, and automation
- Familiarity with ECS / EKS and serverless technologies
- Support continuous improvement of cloud operations and platform stability

Requisitos principales

- Several years of experience as AWS Cloud Engineer, System Administrator, or Cloud Operations Engineer
- Strong experience with AWS EC2, IAM, CloudWatch, SSM, EKS, ECR, S3
- Solid Linux and Windows administration skills
- Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and automation scripting
- Strong troubleshooting and operational mindset
- Experience in regulated environments is a plus
