Overview

As a Senior GNC Engineer in Barcelona, you will advance rendezvous capabilities through expert guidance of guidance, navigation and control systems within a cross-functional team. You will drive algorithm development, integrate them into spacecraft architecture, and shape safety and operational concepts. Your work will influence mission success from conception through operations, with hands-on validation and real-world satellite experience. Responsabilidades

- Develop advanced GNC algorithms for space rendezvous
- Integrate algorithms with system parameters (sensors, actuators, computers)
- Conduct sensitivity analyses to assess GNC performance
- Contribute to ConOps and Safety Concepts, including FDIR strategies




- Support GNC Validation & Verification processes for reliability
- Assist Rendezvous and Docking Operations across mission lifecycle

Requisitos principales

- Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field (PhD a plus)
- ≥8 years of professional GNC/AOCS experience for satellites
- Heritage in at least one successful satellite mission with GNC/AOCS/Flight Dynamics
- Strong programming skills in MATLAB/Simulink with autocoding; flight computer software experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English
