Overview

In this role you will design and engineer mechanical and process systems for advanced production lines, guiding projects from concept to site delivery. You will collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure safety, quality, and on-time execution. You’ll work on sustainability-focused initiatives, including carbon capture technologies, across global projects. The role combines hands-on site involvement with technical leadership to shape production solutions at scale.

Responsabilidades

- Design and engineer mechanical and process systems for production lines
- Prepare equipment specifications, procurement documents, project reports, and technical manuals
- Perform calculations for pumps, valves, heat exchangers, piping utilities, and instrumentation
- Oversee 3D design, lay-out previews, and installation layouts
- Generate equipment purchase tenders and installation material lists
- Lead on-site supervision and commissioning, ensuring quality and successful delivery
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
- Coordinate with clients, internal teams,



and subcontractors for smooth execution
- Prepare reports, monitor project KPIs, and support sales target planning
- Contribute to projects integrating sustainable technologies and carbon capture
- Willingness to travel extensively and work on project sites worldwide

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Food Technology
- Experience in chemical, dairy, food, or beverage industries desirable
- Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages a plus
- Strong knowledge of process design and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with 3D design tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Understanding of utilities, instrumentation, and process control
- Ability to lead internal and external teams, manage timelines, budgets, and resources
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Analytical and problem-solving capability; innovative thinking
- Knowledge of project finance, budgeting, cost control, and forecasting
- Commitment to QHSE culture and safety standards
- Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to different environments
