Overview

In this role you will drive supplier development to secure quality and robust material qualification across the business. You’ll collaborate with Procurement and cross‑functional teams to elevate supplier performance, lead escalation and improvement plans, and support PPAP and material changes. You’ll build strong supplier relationships while tracking key quality metrics to sustain supply to operations. This is a hands-on role at a global manufacturer focused on safety, reliability and continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

- Help establish a capable supply base to meet multiple BU requirements
- Provide early involvement in supplier/material activities
- Support supplier/material changes from category management perspective
- Identify underperforming suppliers and implement get-well plans
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships




- Support customer PPAP and robust material qualification processes
- Track and report SDE metrics (NPD Incident Rate, Critical Risk Supplier List, Supplier on-site audits, Category DPPM)
- Collaborate with supplier and internal cross-functional teams to drive improvements
- Support plant SQE to ensure consistent material quality supply to operations

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor in Engineering
- 5+ years in Supplier Quality / Supplier Development
- ISO - IATF experience and familiarity with FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA
- Knowledge of VDA 6.3 auditing
- Ability to analyze data
- MS Office advanced, SAP basic
- Strong follow-up, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and results-driven
- Green Belt training; Black Belt preferred
- Proficient English (min 85%)
