In this leadership role, you will steer Wallbox’s global purchasing strategy with a focus on electronic components for EV chargers. You’ll partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Finance to ensure cost competitiveness, supply continuity, and scalable sourcing in a fast-growing, dynamic environment. You will shape supplier strategies, manage risk, and drive value through cross-functional collaboration and strategic negotiations. Responsabilidades

- Define and execute the global purchasing and sourcing strategy
- Lead procurement of electronic components for EV chargers (PCBs, semiconductors, power electronics, connectors, cables, sensors)
- Negotiate supplier agreements including pricing, lead times, capacity, and long-term contracts
- Develop and maintain a robust supplier base with dual-sourcing and risk mitigation
- Lead cost-reduction initiatives via should-cost analysis, value engineering, and strategic negotiation




- Collaborate with Engineering and Industrialization teams during New Product Introduction (NPI) for cost efficiency and manufacturability
- Monitor market trends in semiconductors and electronics to anticipate supply risks
- Ensure purchasing processes comply with quality, ESG, and sustainability standards
- Build and mentor a high-performing integral purchasing team
- Track key purchasing metrics: cost savings, supplier performance, OTIF, lead times, and risk indicators

Requisitos principales

- 10+ years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Strategic Sourcing in international environments
- Strong background in electronics or industrial components (power electronics, PCBs, connectors, cables, semiconductors)
- Proven experience in complex supplier negotiations and cost optimization
- Deep experience managing global supply networks with international suppliers
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance
- Strong data-driven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven leadership of purchasing teams
- Fluent in English and Spanish
