Overview

In this role you build Java backend services within agile squads for a major telecom/media client. You’ll translate high-level needs into technical designs, code with a focus on quality, and contribute to delivering value each sprint. You work closely with cross-functional teammates to improve ways of working and support consumed components. - Design and implement Java backend applications using test-driven development
- Maintain high code quality through refactoring and thorough testing
- Participate in all development phases from analysis to delivery
- Deliver meaningful increments each sprint

Requisitos principales

- Technical background in software engineering or related field
- Experience with Java/J2EE (1+/2+ years)
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and programming an advantage
- English proficiency; EU work permit
- Experience in Agile environments (Scrum)
- Experience developing RESTful Web Services
- Experience with Test-driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-driven Development (BDD)
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL (Oracle)
- Experience with Spring, Hibernate, iBatis, Maven, GIT, Docker, or Jenkins (any)
