Overview

In this role you will lead a data and platform engineering team to drive the business vision across a integral software platform. You’ll partner with product managers and engineers to shape roadmaps and deliver scalable, high-quality capabilities for thousands of international customers. You will foster a driven, collaborative culture and ensure delivery on tight schedules. This is a hands-on leadership role with impact on architecture, delivery, and team growth.

Responsabilidades

- Define, drive and execute the data & platform product vision with a world-class team of engineers
- Evolve engineering practices and ensure high-quality delivery
- Develop and grow a motivated team that collaborates across roles
- Facilitate design, build and support of features that delight customers
- Own the development life cycle and manage complex, high-impact projects
- Work with Product Managers to shape roadmaps and capabilities
- Assess feasibility and design approaches for new product development
- Instill software development best practices and documentation
- Drive team performance through metrics,



feedback and continuous learning
- Partner with HR and tech peers to align ways of working with Santander
- Lead agile/lean delivery and maintain balance between scope and business value
- Support growth and progression of direct reports
- Ensure alignment with wider Santander organization

Requisitos principales

- Experience running agile and/or lean software delivery processes
- Ability to assess technological feasibility and prioritize effectively
- Proven track record delivering software in fast-paced environments
- Senior-level software engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with reactive frontend, Java and Kotlin microservices, RESTful APIs, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Kafka, AWS
- Fintech / B2B2C experience is useful
