As Engineering Manager, you will lead teams shaping Flywire’s core payments architecture and scale our distributed, high-availability systems. You’ll balance strategic technical direction with people leadership, enabling AI-driven automation to improve payments compliance and risk. You’ll partner with Product, QA and SRE to align roadmaps and deliver impact at global scale. This is a mission-driven role for someone who thrives in cross-functional, fast-growing environments and wants to influence the future of payments technology.

- Strategic Oversight: set priorities for specific teams and ensure execution aligns with strategy
- Team Development: manage performance, coaching, hiring within budget
- Resource Allocation: determine approaches to daily operations across multiple product lines

Requisitos principales

- 3+ years managing and mentoring engineering teams with track record in performance management and hiring
- 7+ years of software engineering experience on high-availability production systems and distributed architecture
- Hands-on experience building or supporting payment platforms, payment gateways, fintech products, or related domains
- Strong ability to communicate technical matters to non-technical stakeholders
