As a Lead Software Engineer in AI product development, you will shape and implement scalable, AI-driven backend systems. You’ll work within the LS&H; Innovation engineering team to build reliable cloud-native solutions, leveraging Python, LLMs, and microservices. You’ll influence technical direction and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance AI capabilities across the organization. This role combines hands-on development with architectural leadership in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsabilidades
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, microservices and ETL pipelines in Azure or AWS
- Shape AI platform initiatives from concept to production, balancing in-house and cloud-native or open-source technologies
- Translate requirements into high-quality, reliable code and build proof-of-concepts
- Collaborate with Cloud Ops, Solution Architecture, Product Engineering, PM and SMEs to deliver solutions
- Lead the technical approach on assigned work from design through implementation
- Test and continuously improve solutions with unit tests and automation
- Progress projects from concept to prototype and contribute to production-ready plans
- Work in an agile, fast-paced environment and foster continuous improvement
Requisitos principales
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Engineering or related field; equivalent experience
- ≥7 years in software engineering; ≥4 years backend Python development (APIs, microservices, ETL)
- ≥5 years in cross-functional, agile teams
